Fees and Rebates
Fees (Effective 1 January 2026)
Individual appointments are available in person or via secure telehealth, providing flexibility to access support in the way that best suits your needs.
Standard Individual Consultation (50 minutes): $220
Concession/Pensioner Individual Consultation (50 minutes): $180
Extended EMDR Consultation (75 minutes): $250
Reports and Letters: $110 per hour
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) National Schedule of Suggested Fees for 2026–2027 recommends a fee of $330 for a standard 46–60 minute psychology consultation. Please note that this is a recommended fee only, and psychologists set their own fees independently. A fee of $220 has been set to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological care while remaining as accessible as possible.
Medicare Rebates
From 1 July 2026, clients with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from their GP (or another eligible referrer) may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate under the Better Access initiative.
The current Medicare rebate for a standard 50+ minute consultation with a registered psychologist is $101.55 per session. Medicare rebates are available for up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year, subject to Medicare eligibility.
